Derbyshire GP Practices are facing unprecedented levels of pressure. The challenges of capacity and demand underpinned by the current recruitment, retention and retirement crisis has resulted in a perfect storm.
Despite this strain Derbyshire’s Practices are continuing to adapt and survive. The General Practice Task Force provides wraparound support for Derbyshire Practices, GPs and Practice Teams to try and make sure that practices don’t just survive they thrive.

NO LONGER ACTIVE – Derbyshire Medical Chambers
Derby and Derbyshire CCG have commissioned My Locum Manager (MLM) from 1st November 2021 to create a local digital bank where GPs can book work easily across Derbyshire whilst benefiting from a comprehensive support package to meet their needs.

We work with
General Practice Task Force work with numerous organisations to deliver and support general practice as a whole.
Our bespoke designed projects are delivered in collaboration with HEE, Joined-Up Care Derbyshire, Derby and Derbyshire CCG, Health Education Derbyshire and NHSE Midlands and East.
General Practice Task Force also has strong links with the Derby and Derbyshire Local Medical Committee and the Derbyshire GP Alliance.
