Live Programmes

General Practice Task Force are proud to offer the below programmes to all Derbyshire practices and individuals working within the county.

Opportunity for admin, reception and non – clinical teams

Would you and your team benefit from a reflective practice session?

Reflective Practice sessions aim to provide a safe, honest and an enlightening environment in which colleagues can discuss and share experiences they may have faced in their practice role.

These sessions are delivered by trained facilitators and provides an opportunity to reflect on the emotional and psychological impact of working in a healthcare environment. It is not therapy or counselling but designed to encourage delegates to be open and frank about their experiences as a way of being able to address any self-help practices and encourage wellbeing.

  • Sessions are 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration for a maximum group size of 8
  • Sessions aim to help attendees create a ‘meaningful narrative’ about their experiences as an individual within the group
  • These sessions are not focused on apportioning blame or service or organisational improvement but a confidential safe space to reflect, learn and move forward

If you would like to hear more or book a session for you admin/reception and non-clinical team please contact DDLMC.GPTF@NHS.NET

GPTF GP Fellowships

Express your interest for 2021 Fellowships

Over the past 2 years GPTF have been running flexible fellowships that have retained GPs in the county by developing leadership skills, project management experience and additional clinical / managerial skills. Our fellowships have led to additional job opportunities, national academic presentations and helped shape support for GPs and practices throughout the county.

As opportunities for new GPs and First5 GPs have increased with the offer of New to Practice and ‘Trailblazer’ Fellowships, we are keen to ensure that GPs in their mid / later career can also access a portfolio career development scheme. We have therefore taken the decision to offer these fellowships to GPs at least 5 years post CCT.

Please read about the scheme in more detail and express your interest by 30 October 2021.
