Who we are…
Who we are …
The General Practice Task Force (GPTF) is Derbyshire’s answer to the growing crisis in general practice. Originally formed with an aim at solving problems within general practice in 2016 with HEE funding. We have grown into a recognised support arm for Derbyshire practices.
We deliver support to individual GPs, GP Trainees and Practice Managers throughout their working lives. We aim to build supported networks of GPs and PMs, advertise opportunities and flexible careers, support wellbeing and above all ensure our workforce feels valued.
By supporting practice teams to adapt to the changing climate and by giving them time, space and expertise to thrive, we hope to future-proof quality general practice for all.
Our programmes are open to all Derbyshire practices and practice teams, and translates the visions of the NHS Five Year Forward View (NHS 5YFV) and the GP Forward View (GPFV) into meaningful change in Derbyshire general practice.
